WORD ON THE SEAT
PAST WINNERS

2006 winners - The Bucket Brothers Last year Damian and Terry cemented their impressive reps by taking home the silverware. The reigning champions are back again this year after spending the break trying unsuccessfully to set up London's first female-only hip-hop night.

2005 winners - Goth in 60 Seconds After being forced to hang up their studded driving gloves earlier in the year, the Goth duo won over the crowd against all the odds - thanks to a heavy rock remix of a pagan chant and some heavy rocking in the first-ever air-driven mobile blood-bank.

2004 winners - Invisible Force The four-man team stole the show with something none of us had ever seen before: air driving, ninja style! Their completely silent 3-minute routine featured some of the stealthiest and most lethal moves ever seen to date.

2003 winner - Jesse "Long Distance" Liston III Self-confessed hillbilly Jesse trucked his way into the crowd's good books - and the judges' - with his performance to a Kentucky bluegrass number and a genuine claxon truck horn. But joy turned to tears during an emotional speech dedicating the win to his ex, who left him for a cabbie in 2002. We feel your pain Jesse...

2002 winner - Darren After getting a ban and selling his car, Darren followed in the footsteps of Justin, Britney, Christina and Beyonce by spending his last few pennies on getting his surname legally erased to give him a real edge in the competition. The judges were impressed by the same passion in his routine.
